Metropolitan Postcard Club
and Important Club News
Meetings - Every month, with the exception of show dates, the Metropolitan Post Card Collectors Club holds meetings. These are not formal meetings to discuss business, but friendly get-togethers where collectors and dealers can meet to buy and sell postcards. Dealers who are members of the club pay no fees to set up at our meetings. Likewise all meetings are free for our members to attend. These meetings are also open to the general public for an admission fee of a mere $2.00. At certain times of year we host special events such as fund rasing sales, album competitions, and holiday parties. If you are a novice or are just thinking of becoming a collector, there will plenty of expert advice for the taking. Please come and join us.
Shows - The Metropolitan Post Card Collectors Club sponsors three special shows every year. Each November and May we hold a two or three day events where approximately thirty-five postcard dealers from around the nation to around the world attend to introduce there cards to you. The postcards to be found here range from discount boxes to artist signed and hard to find rarities. In February or March we hold our one day mid-Winter mini show. Though not as large as the other two shows, it is attended by a good mix of dealers, some who do not partake in our other events. All shows are a great way to find cards. Shopping on the internet is in no way comparable to seeing a card in person. Just by browsing you will gain a greater familiarity with postcards that will make you a more knowledgeable and better collector. And of coarse it is only at shows that you may find interesting conversation about cards and collecting. If you have never been to our postcard shows, please plan to attend, you will be pleasantly amazed.

A large selection of national and international dealers will be present selling a wide variety of vintage postcards. Please note that not all dealers will be present on Sunday.
